Locally Grown History

Massachusetts Homeschoolers visit Beckley

The Friends of Beckley Furnace were delighted to welcome a group of about a dozen home-schooled young people from southern Berkshire County, Massachusetts in September 2007.

Although the weather was not kind that day, everyone seemed to have a great time, and the kids clearly learned a lot as well.  Here are some pictures from that visit (click any of them to see a larger image):
