Mt. Everett 8th Grade Annual Visit - 2007

Each year, the 8th grade at Mt. Everett visits Beckley Furnace.  We always enjoy welcoming the Mt. Everett kids and giving them the opportunity to learn a little bit about Beckley Furnace and the iron industry. 

In 2007, they visited on two consecutive days.  Their itinerary each day took them to the Crane Paper Company plant in Dalton before they visited us, so they saw quite a bit of industrial history and archaeology in a short time.

Beckley Furnace Industrial Monument
